Mexican social media influencer Maria Fernanda Robles tragically drowned during a nighttime swim with a friend. Her lifeless body was discovered close to the shoreline several hours after the incident. The 21-year-old influencer, who had amassed more than 25,000 followers on Instagram, had a penchant for posting snapshots from her travels and nightlife. On August 14, around 4:40 am, she met her untimely demise by drowning in Mazatlán, Mexico. The incident occurred after she ventured into the water in the company of two other friends. Despite the efforts of the Mazatlán police, Maria’s body was not initially located and only washed ashore later.

One of Maria’s companions faced a perilous situation in the waves but was fortunately rescued by another friend. Upon discovering Maria’s lifeless body on the beach, her friends immediately contacted emergency services. Authorities were able to identify her later that day, and it was determined that she had been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. Just hours prior to the tragic event, Maria Fernanda Robles had posted an Instagram story featuring an image of a shark as well as a photograph alongside a female friend.

Maria was born to her mother, Mari Cruz Robles, before Mari Cruz’s relationship with the well-known Mexican singer Luis Ángel (El Flaco). Despite the divorce that followed, Luis Ángel remained a father figure for Maria. The singer went on to have two more children with Mari Cruz: Angela, now 19, and Luis, now 13.
